Noble and Jones were the opening bowlers. Runs camo slowly, owing to the doubtful - wicket. Fane made nino, when he was bowled by Jones. One for 17. Three wickets for 108. , , , Owen joined McGahey, but the former only added six when Trumper bowled him off his body. Four for 122. Sewoll camo next, but McGahey, who had batted eighty minutes for thirty-six, gave Howoll a chance in the slips. Fivo for 143. Sowell added a dozen, whon ho was clean bowled. Six for 150. Young failed to add to the soore, and Kartwright was caught at long-off. Eight for 157.
