A heavy swell drifted her north again, but on a change sail was again made, and sho crossed hor former track a second time, and was in a fair way to got south. When the Naming appeared, the Boveric was then 870 miles from tho Australian coast, and 200 south of tho point whero she broke down.

A sharp lookout was kept all tho time, the electric light Hashing out, but nothing was sighted till the morning. Tho damage to the machinery proved irreparable.

Tho passengers and crew were in ernod health, with plenty of food a.._ ... Of 965 horses, 912 are still aboard in splendid condition. Tho balance died from various causes, chiefly pneumonia. Soon after the breakdown occurred they were put on diminishing rations, until about oight pounds of bran and chaff daily was roached. Tho ship had about eight days’ foed when picked up. The Boveric remains at Fromantle for repairs.

Tho Ago reached Albany yesterday, eu route to search for the Boveric. The Tagliaferro was ready to start to-day. Tho Naming was voyaging from Albany to South Africa.
