HON. J. CARROLL.

The Hon. Carroll returned to Auckland, after visiting Rotorua, Tauranga, Wbakatane, and Matata, where he explained the recent native legislation to the Maoris. Mr Carroll will remain in town a few days, and then attend a meeting of the natives in the Waikato.
