Murder by Savages.
NINE MEN KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Port Darwin, May 15. A Malay proa, containing ten men, was wrecked at Cape Wilberforce. The natives murdered all excepting one, who, although wounded, escaped into tho bush and wandered about for a fortnight, existing on shell-fish. Eventually he was rescued.
