SHIPPING.

The s.s. Te Anau left Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday. She leaves Napier this afternoon, and arrives early Wednesday morning. The s.s. Waikare leaves Sydney at noon to-morrow.

The s.s. Mararoa, leaving Saturday next, connects at Auckland with the Moura for Fiji; also Taviuni, for Rara■tonga and Tahiti. The s.s. Wanaka replaces the Hawea in 'the Bluff-Auckland trade. The Wanaka leaves tho Bluff on May 16, Oamaru 17, Timaru 19, and will call at Gisborne if sufficient inducement offers.

Tho scow Bravo arrived from Whangarei yesterday morning, having left on Sunday, 4t'h. The scow rounded the East Cape on Sunday morning at 8 o’clock, and a strong west wind brought the scow down the count. The oargo consists of 136 tons of coal for tho Sheepfarmers’ Freezing Company. The Tyser Line s.s. Indradevi is due here on tho 25th inst. to load frozen produce from Messrs Nelson Bros.’ works. \She will be followed by the Indralema, due on June Bth. The scow Herald has been chartered to load timber and general cargo at Auckland for this port. The schooner Waiapu proceeds from Auckland to Whangarei to load timber for Gisborne. The scow Alert is loading lime, coal, etc., at Whangarei for Gisborne. Messrs Huddart, Parker, and Co.’s s.s. Zealandia leaves Auokland this afternoon, and arrives here on Wednesday, proceeding Bonth at 5 p.m. The Omapere was at Hicks’ Bay yesterday. She works Te Araroa to-day, and afterwards proceeds direct to Auckland.
