HOSPITAL ESTIMATES.
At the last meeting of the Hospital Trustees it was shown that the estimated receipts for the past year (1901-2) wore £2946, and the actual receipts (including subsidy and requisition due) were £BO7 5 2s Bd. The items were made up : Subscriptions, estimated £550, actual £625 10s ; Government subsidy, £660 and £676 17s 3d ; fees, £3OO and £390 ISs 7d. For the ensuing year it was estimated that the receipts would be £3091, including a requisition on District Board of £2840. Subscriptions were estimated at £IOO, Government subsidy at £l2O, fees £350, rent £25, interest £22. The expenditure was estimated at £3091. Last year the estimated expenditure was £1777, while the actual expenditure (including liabilities) was £3255 15s Id. A sum of £IOO was set down for building, the actual expenditure being £1234 6s lid, and repairs and improvements (£150) amounted to £291. The following are the main lines of estimated expenditure:—
