JURY DISAGREE

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland last night,

The jury empanelled to try the charge of theft of £145 from, the Empire Hotel, at Alasterton, preferred against John Wright, failed to agree, aud were discharged. This is the second trial of the same accused on the above charge. The third trial will commence on Monday.

CHARGE ABANDONED. The Crown Prosecutor has filed a nolle proseque in the charge of concealment of. birth against Catherine Alexander and Thos. Alurcott.
