MR F. W. WILLIAMS ELECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night. The election for Mayor to day resulted in the return of Mr F. W. Williams by a majority of 187 over his opponent, Mr S. Cornell, ex-M.H.R. Mr Williams is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Harboi’ Board, uud is well versed i.o public affairs. Consiueulb!? interest was manifested in election, though the poll was not quite so large as on tho previous occasion, when, however, the general municipal election was takon at the same time,
