Tho Governor has been advised that Sergeant Cashman, of Sternackor’s Horse, whose parents belong to Port Chalmers, was killed at Haknertoburg on April 16 ; also that Troopers Raynor (Seventh Contingent) and Conlon (Eighth Contingent) are dangerously ill, the former of enteric fever at Harrismith, and the latter of rheumatic fever at Newcastle.
