JUVENILE BURGLARS.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. At the Supreme Court, four boys,
whose ages ranged from nine to thirteen, appeared to answer changes of breaking and entering and theft, to which they pleaded guilty in the Lower Court. His Honor said it iyas very sad to see a number of such small boys going to gaol. Counsel bad asked that they should be let go, but if he granted this request they would go away thinking they were very fine fellows. They were quite old enough to know how wicked and wrong it was to do such things as that with which they were charged. They would be sent to an industrial school, where they would be kept out of temptation and trained to do what was right. His Honor ordered that the lads be committed to the Burnham Industrial School.
