THE GOVERNOR.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) • Auckland, last night. Yesterday afternoon, the Governor laid the foundation stone of a Presbyterian church, to be called tit. George’s, at Lake Takapuna, near Auckland. On Monday, His Excellency leaves for a week’s trip in the train, and Intends visiting Rotorua on May 2nd, to present the Arawa tribe with the Union Jack, sent out from the Prince of Wales as a gift.
