TRAGEDY IN MELBOURNE.
TWO DEATHS,
By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright Melbourne, April 24. Lieutenant Josephs, a well-known electrical engineer, was found dead in his office. A man named Williams, in attempting to restore animation, dashed a glass of liquid standing on the tablo in Joseph's face. Shortly ufter Williams collapsed and died. It is believed that the glass contained prussic acid, and that Williams was overpowered by tho fumes.
SUICIDE AND DEATH FROM EXCITEMENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, April 24. The evidence points to the belief that Joseph committed suicide with prussic acid. A post-mortem disclosed that Williams’ death was caused by the bursting of a blood vessel on the train, the result of the sudden excitement.
