m , , , Sydney, April 20. Iwo fresh cases of plague are reported. Ihe latest development is the closing of tho Zoological Gardens, owing to the discovery that a wallaby is suffering from plague. The death of a number of herbivorous animals in the Gardens recently led to investigation. It is supposed tho plague was contracted from rat-infested fodder.

Brisbane, April 20. One case of plaguo is reported at Devonport.
