(Per Press Association). WANGANUI, last night. A lire occurred this evening bv which a six-roomed house in Ingestre .\ireet was destroyed. The insurances on the house were not obtainable, but the furniture was insured in me London and Lancashire for £2OO. Mr Andrews, the occupier of the house, is a heavy loser, as lie owned a large quantity of valuable carvings.
