TECHNICAL EDUCATION
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night.
At the Board of Education soventythree applications were received for the position of director of the technical school —8 from New Zealand, 35 from Great Britain, and 30 from the Australian Commonwealth. It was decided to refer the names to a committee of the whole Board to reduce the number to about 20.
