Stock Sale.
Messrs Williams and Kettle hold their next stock sale at the Matawhero yards on Thusday next, when they will offer some first-class lines. A large entry of sheep is promised for the sale, including two, four, and six tooth ewes, forward and store wethers, and full-mouth ewes and weaners. Upwards of two hundred head of cattle will be submitted, including a large number of forward bullocks, fifty fifteen to twenty month old steers, fifty two-year-old heifers and cows, forty mixed weaners, and thirty twenty to twenty-four month steers. Mr A. F. Kennedy will conduct the sale. Messrs Dalgety and Co.’s next stock sale is advertised to be held at Makaraka on Thursday, April 24th, commencing at 1 p.m. Present entries include about a thousand sheep, and fifty head of cattle. Mr G. E. Eiiott, the firm’s local manager, will conduct the sale. The next stock sale held at Waerenga-a-hika by Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. and Wyllie and Mason has been fixed for Thursday, May Ist. Entries are invited.
