Imperial Conference.
SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, April 11. Mr O’Connor, in the Senate, stated that in addition to the subjects proposed by New Zealand for discussion at the Imperial Conference, South Africa has proposed nationalisation of the political relations of the Mother Country, with the colonies’ defence, and the relations of Australia and New Zealand to the Pacific Islands, and commercial relations of the Empire.
