Messrs Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Weka (Captain Oarlsen) arrived from 'Napier yesterday morning, .bringing a cargo of 5000 ft of timber, 200 posts, and a quantity' of sundries. The steamer returned to Napier intho- evening. Passengers from Napier: SergearitNorewood and Detective Benjamin. The Tyser liner Star of Australia (Captain Bead) completed'‘loading last night, and proceeded to Napier. The local shipments are from Messrs Nelson Bros.’ works, the following being the list: 10,000 carcases mutton, 954 carcases lamb, 20,000 pieces, 86 cases meat extract, 309 casks tallow; and S 3 packages casings. The Union Co.’s s.s. Omapere arrives from Napier this morning, proceeding to Coast ports and Auckland to-night. The Union S'.S. Co. are in receipt of cable advice that the second-class accommodation of the s.s. Miowera, leaving Sydney on the 21st inst. for Vancouver, is full.. UNION STEAMSHIP' COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
