LATE CECIL RHODES.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Capetown, April 7. Two thousand Deßeers’ workmen, with their wives and children, at Kimberley, passed Mr Cecil Rhodes’ coffin. Two thousand whites, with seven thousand natives, aceordod similar reverenco to his remains at Mafoking. Extraordinary manifestations of sorrow were witnessed at Mafeking during the passing of Mr Cecil Rhodes’ coffin. London, April 7. The Kaiser and President Roosevelt are delighted at the Rhodes bequest, and have intimated their warm appreciation of Mr Rhodes’ action in leaving the legacies.
