POISONING CASES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The Commissioner of Police has received a report that the analysis of the liver and stomach of the late Mrs Court, who died at Okoroire Hotel last month, has been completed by Mr Pond, Government Analyst at Auckland, who failed to find traces of either mineral or alkaloid poison. The samples of foodstuffs and condiments used when Mrs Court was at the hotel were found to be sound and * wholesome. Mr Pond is of opinion that the illness of Mrs Court and the other lodgers was caused by ptomaines in the whipped cream. Several medical men in Auckland agree with this theory.
