ALLEGED BRIGANDAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, April 6. A soldier writing from Pretoria under date of February 27th saysthat Handcock and Morant were convicted of thirty charges, including shooting four surrenderers, whom they robbed of £4OOO. The latter killed a sergeant for refusing to share in the plunder, fearing he would inform the authorities. The transport Custodian has left Natal for Albany, conveying 23 officers and 460 men of the Fifth Victorian Mouuteds.
