A soldier writing from Pretoria under date of February 27th saysthat Handcock and Morant were convicted of thirty charges, including shooting four surrenderers, whom they robbed of £4OOO. The transport Custodian has left Natal for Albany, conveying 23 officers and 460 men of the Fifth Victorian Mouuteds.
