ANOTHER RECORD FOR WAIHI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last nigh t.

During the four weeks onding March 29 the Waihi Goldmining Company treated 12,956 tons of ore for bullion valued at £41,231, an average of £3 3s 7d per ton. This is a fresh record, and completes the company’s output for the first quarter of the present year, showing for that period a total of £i.21,780, an increase of £29,112 over the first quarter of last year. The increase is due to the fact that the company is handling a higher grade ore, and not to the increase of the ore treatod.

During the past month the Chelmsford Goldmining Company treated 223 tons for bullion valued at j£37o.
