A GREAT CROWD.
FOOTBALL GROUND INVADED AND LIFE LOST. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright London, April 6. Seventy thousand people attended an Association football match between England and Scotland, played at Ibrox Park, Glasgow. The crowd broke the barriers and invaded the ground. Mounted police charged them and cleared the playing space. Many were injured in the crush and elsewhere. The back of the grandstand collapse d, precipitating scores 85ft, and burying them amongst the broken wood. Altogether three people were killed, and 150 injured, some fatally.
