AUCKLAND NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Another batch of men, eleven in number, left Auckland for Wellington to join the Tenth Contingent to-day, completing Auckland’s quota. The Rev. Murray, President pf the Wesleyan Conference, has received a'wire* from the Premier, stating that he had appointed the Rev. John Aldred Luxford, of Invercargill, chaplain of one of the battalions of the Tenth Contingent.
