NEW ORLEANS MINSTRELS.
The second entertainment given by the Juvenile Minstrel troupe in the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening was of a very attractive character, and was greatly appreciated by the audience. The natives and negro characteristics were indeed well done, and the performers had to respond to numerous encores. Altogether the programme was of a bright and entertaining nature, and with Mr Fred. G-amirf, I the clown, who was the fun' of the evening and kept his audience simmering with his merriment and droll antics, the Juvenile Minstrels give a programme of genuine fun carried through in a very clever way. Last night a sacred concert ‘ there beffig a good audience, was giveu, ‘ i --> the excellent who heartily appreciates .. programme presented. The ■ company comprises some lads of marked ability in the musical and mirth-provoking line. They leave for Auckland this morning, and should have a very successful seasoa in the Northern city.
