By telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, March 27. Sir Fred. Darley opened tho Royal Agricultural Show. It was his first appearance in public since his recent illness. Despite tho protracted drought the number and general quality of tho exhibits wero equal to those of previous years. Some sections of the larger fat stock were hardly up to the averago. John Grant, of Invercargill, took first prize for Durham cow, two seconds for bulls, two seconds and highly commended for Ayrshire bulls, and a second for cow.
