The Chamber of Deputies by 469 to 32, the minority being Socialists, and tho Senate unanimously, with choers, voted half a million francs for Loubet's journey to St. Petersburg. The preamble of tho resolution quoted the Czar’s invitation to come, and personally expressed warm and sincere sentiments uniting Russia in a friendly alliance with France. The preamble of the vote emphasised the strength of a union directed to mutual prosperity and tho maintenance of peace. London, March 25. It is reported at Washington that Russia and France sounded America respecting her attitude in the event of disturbances in the Far East.
