The Gisborne Times PUBLISHED EVERY MORNING. GISBORNE, MARCH 26, 1902. THE PREMIER.
All being well tiie Premier will arrive at Gisborne to-morrow morning. A meeting of the committee is to be held at noon to-day to make arrangements for the reception. On this occasion lie comes not as the head of the political party of which he has been such a powerful and triumphant leader. 011 the present visit Mr Seddon will he honored as the colony's representative at the great Coronation ceremony and the delegate to the Conference of Premiers. It should be highly pleasing to the people oi Gisborne to have a visit from Mr Seddon prior to Iris departure 'for the Old Country, and for the time it is to be hoped that all political feeling will he thrust aside, and that the people will very heartily join in the farewell greetings to tiie colony’s representative, and Mr Seddon’s hitherto political opponents will cordially join with iiis warm admirers in giving him a reception and send-off worthy of Gisborne^
