POLO TOURNAMENT.

[by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Palmerston North, last night. At the Polo tournament to-day, the final for the Saville Cup was played between Eangitikei and Manawatu 1. The three Wilsons and Keiller represented the former, and Abraham (2), Strange, and Rpbinson the latter. ” Keiller was struck with a polo stick in the first spell, and his place was taken by W. G. Wilson, the Eangitikei team consisting of the father and three sons. The game was splendidly contested throughout, the scores being equal to the close of the fifth spell, both teams then having scored four goals each. In the final spell, Manawatu placed three goals, thus winning by seven to four. Brilliant individual play was shown by the members of both teams, though the combination of Eangitikei was somewhat interfered with by the retirement of Keiller. The polo races and gymkhana take place to-morrow (Wednesday).
