Tho Union Company’s s.s. Oruapere (Capt. A. p. Chrisp) left for Port Awanui at 5.30 yesterday morning. Passengers : Hon. Jas. Carroll and Messrs Waiheke, Noa, Reronginui, and Trevelyan. Tho Union Company’s s.s. Mararoa left Wellington at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon for Napier and Gisborne. The Union Company’s s.s. Waikare left Sydney at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for Auckland and Gisborne. The s.s. Fanny arrives from Napier early 'Jthis morning. The schooner Gisborne (Capt. Pankow) left at 11 yesterday morning for Mercury Bay, after lying in port several days owing to the bad weather. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Saturday.—Mararoa arrives from the South early, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch G a.m. Last 10 a.m. Sunday (23rd. March).—Te Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival. Last at 5 p.m.
