CROSS DIVORCE CASES. By Telegraph—Press Association Wellington, last night. In the Appeal Court iti the appeal of Hall, of Christchurch, against the decision of Judge Denniston in the divorce case against his wife, and in the counter action, the Chief Justice announced that the Court considered there was not sufficient evidence to warrant the Court below in finding that Hall had been guilty- of adultery. There was no evidence of familiarity, and none to lead to the assumption that there had been improper j relations. Even if some evidence pointed both ways, that was not sufficient. Argument wa3 then begun on the Cross appeal which was instituted in Mrs Hall’s behalf, But this was dismissed. The result is that the decree for dissolvation of marriage obtained by the husband stands.
