Five guineas, offered bv Mr H. G. Seth Smith, through the New Zealand Literacy and Historical Association, for the best essay on “ Wine Culture for Wine Making in Nc.v Zealand,” have been awarded to Mr W. Heathcote Jackson, of Kaipara.
