SHIPPING.

The Shaw-Savill steamer Karamca, 6568 tons (Captain Burton), arrived from Lyttelton at 7 o’clock yesterday morning. Mr J. Anderson was a passenger. The Karamea takes away from this port 7000 carcases of mutton from the Gisborne Freezing Works, 60 casks tallow, and 4500 bales wool. She gets quick despatch, leaving at 4 o’olock this afternoon for Napier.

Messrs Bichardson and Co.’s s.s. Fanny arrived from Napier yesterday morning, fringing a oargo consisting of 1200 posts, 5600 ft timber, 80 bags lime, and sundries. She left for Napier during the night. The s.s. Omapere leaves Te Araroa this morning for Gisborne, and is due at daylight on Wednesday. She leaves again at 9 p.m. for Awanui, with a large number of natives for the meeting at Wai-o-matatini.

The s.s. Te Anau left Wellington a! 5 p.m. yesterday, and is due early Wed nesday, thence proceeding to Auckland. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S

First launch G a.m. Last 10 a.m. Sunday (23rd. March).—Te Anau arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival. Last at 5 p.m.
