ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Ma eh 17. The weather was flue for St.i’atrick’s Day. There was a denonsthition and sports at tile Agicultural Grounds. The banks and pubic offices were closed, otherwise the holilay was very generally ignored. Mr Bfoton, Sir W. Lyne, and the State Minister deprecated the sectarian spirit displayed over the declaration of a publio holiday.
