The Autumn Meeting of the Amateur Athletic Club was held in fine weather. W. Skinner (brother to the professional Arthur and tho ex-champion Jack), who competed for the first time, won the putting the shot, with 34ft, and the hammerthrowing with 98ffc 7in. T. Stubbs, Oa. Palmerston North, who was not in ioim, competed unsuccessfully in the 100, 220, and 440 yards events. A. S. Henderson, syds, won the half-mile in 2.6, and the 440yds hurdles easily from scratch. \V. H. Pollock, won the quarter in great style, the time being 52 l-ssoc. tlood form was shown by the members of tho Victoria College, who are to compete in the Inter-Varsity Sports at Christchurch at Easter. A. S. Henderson and G. M. Henderson were placed in the 220yds scratch event, won in 25sec, and the latter won the half-mile in 2.7.
