TEMPERANCE CONVENTION.

At the Women’s Christian Temperance Union Convention the Treasurer presented the annual balance-sheet, which showed a credit balance of £3O 13s Id, the sum which passed through her hands during the year being £B6 8s lid. £8733 13s 2d was passed through the books of the local treasurers during the year, every Union except two showing credit balances. Tho reports of the missionary, Maori, juvenile, and young people’s work were read and adopted ; also the report of the White Ribbon paper.
