SHIPPING.
The Union Co.’s Omapcro (Captain Cbrisp) arrived from Westport and Wellington late on Wednesday evening. She was delayed at the Westport bar with heavy winds and sea. A cargo of 300 tons of coal was consigned to Messrs Nelson Bros., Ltd., and was discharged. She proceeded to Napier in tbo evening, and roturns on Saturday morning for Coast ports. Tho Burrumbeet arrives from South to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Auckland and Sydney. Tho schooner Aotea sails for Coast ports and Auckland on Saturday. The schooner Gisborne, from Mercury Bay, brought 41,000 ft of timber for Muckroll and Colley, and 17,000 ft for Messrs Clayton Bros. The schooner Awanui was to sail from Auckland to Gisborne yesterday, calling in at Tairua on tho way down to load a consignment of 40,000 ft of timber for Messrs Kennedy and Evans. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Saturday.—Omapere arrives from Napier early, and leaves for East Coast ports. Last launch, 8 a.m. Sunday, 16th.—Moura arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and leaves for South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m.
