RETIREMENT OF CAPTAIN HUGGETT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Captain Huggett having retired from the Melanesian Mission yacht Southern Cross, after twenty-three years’ service as mate and master, Captain Hammond, late of the Union S.S. Company, has been appointed to command the Southern Cross. __
