PROTESTANT ALLIANCE.

[by TELEGRAPH —PIIKEH ASSOCIATION'.] Auckland, last night.

Representatives of the Protestant Alliance Lodge of New Zealand held the biennial meeting to-day. The executive’s report showed that £1644 had been paid to sick members since iast meeting, and £305 in providing the funerals of deceased members and wives and widows. Tho Sick Fund showed a credit balance of £5712, and the funeral fund £5079. It was resolved that the members of the Society who had gone to the Boer war be kept financial on the hooks of the Order during their absence. The following oilieers were elected H. 11. Seabrook, W.G.M.; J. M. Tregaskis, D.G.M.; Win. Smith, G.S.S.; G. Burns, G.T.; C. Watson, Chaplain ; E. Dutton, J. H. Field, and W. J. May, Trustees; C. D. Joynt, J. McGregor, and J. Herring, P.M.’s ; Bros. Tregaskis and J. McDonald, Auditors.
