It is believed to be De Wet’s reserve. Since tbe -Ith inst. thirty-five prisoners hare been captured at Reitz. CHEERING NEWS FOR RELATIVES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. Mrs Hayes has received a telegram from the Premier, stating that a cable from Capetown states that trooper Hayes is doing well. Trooper Hayes was reported to be suffering from enteric. The Premier bus telegraphed to Mr Colledge that lie has received from tbe officer commanding tbe Seventh Contingent a cablegram stating that Lieut. Colledge’s condition is satisfactory, and that he will continue to improve.
