The Agent-General’s cablegram dated London, iird, states ; —“ No alteration in tho mutton market since last week. Lamb is quiet. The average price to-day for Cantfrbury lamb is did; other brands, C/ ; d. Beef is firm. The stocks of New Zealand on hand are light. Hinds 41 d, fores 3d. Butter is firm at 112. Cheese is very firm at 50s, Hemp is steady ; good fair Wellington, spot, £39. No alteration in the cocksfoot prices since last week,”
