At the meeting of the Borough Council last night, the Town Clerk stated that he had interviewed Mr Oman in regard tc the two puriri trees near the Argyll Hotel. Mr Oman had agreed to allow the trees to remain while temporary tenants were in the shops, but thought that later on the permanent tenants would desire then removal. Councillors thought that mosi tenants would be pleased to have them j there. i
