PREMIER TESTIMONIAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. The Liberal and Labor Federation have resolved that the executive shall collect subscriptions from members of the Federation who have not as yet contributed towards the Premier’s testimonial, so that the subscription from members shall be presented as a whole on the Federation list.

On Monday a slaughterhouse at Mangawhare, Northern Wairoa, owned by A. E. Harding and Co., was destroyed by fire. Two bullocks and ten sheep, shut up in the building, were burned. The damage is estimated at £450, and the insurance is £3OO in the New Zealand.
