NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to STOP, a portion of j the MANGATU ROAD where it is laid off j in the Puhatikotiko 1 B 1 Block, from a point 3 chains below the Waikohu Bridge on the river bank, to a point 069 links from the northern bank of the Waikohu river, and to convey the land in the road stopped to the owners of the Puhatikotiko In 1 Block in exchange for a new road taken in j the same block to connect with the Wai- i kohu Cart Bridge, erected in 1898. A plan of the road stopped and of the new road taken is on view at the office . of the Cook County Council, Gisborne. Any objections to the stopping of the road under notice must be sent to the office of the Cook County Council not later 1 than the 24th March, 1902. i
