The Federal Tariff.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, Feb. 19. The Tariff Committee has fixed the duty on cemer, at niaepance per hundredweight. Mr Kingston promised to carefully consider the representations of the Queensland members of tho Federal Parliament to replace the duty on New Zealand white pine, and grant a rebate on all wood used for boxes wherein butter i& exDorted.
