The marriages of Winifred and Joseph McCaghey and Margaret and Hugh McLaughlan were to-day dissolved in the Divorce Court, each case being on the wife’s petition. Oscar Miller was to-day committed for trial on a charge of obtaining £5 10s from James Newton by false pretences, accused allegedly procuring the money from Newton to make certain bets on racehorses.
