The barque Armenia took the following cargo from this port Shipped by Messrs Dalgety and Co.. .337 bales wool ; Bennett and Sherratt, 1345 hales ; Williams and Kettle, Limited, XXO7 bales ; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., Limited, 781 bales 3o pockots ; Bank of New Zealand, 90S bales ; Common, Shelton and Co., Limited, 11X7 bales, 6 dumps skins. The U.S.S. Company’s s.s. Omapere arrived from the Coast on Saturday afternoon, and left for the South during the evening.
The Union S.S. Company’s steamer Moura arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon at a quarter to one after a smart passage of twenty-threo hours, and left for Southern ports during the evening. Passengers—lnward : Messrs Fergus, Angus, Gulman, Smith ; Mesdames Tooman, Quoenin, Simmons, Nativo ; Misses McGee, Cherry, Quetnin. Barker, Hieriwi, Paullindsly, Hannon, WoodsJarvis, Busby, McCallum, Noble-Camp-bell, Kenway, Rooinson, Kershaw, Hunn, Tingey, Spooner, Williams, Latchford, Guy, Titfen, Riria, Pa, Hata, Allwood.
The schooner Awanui arrived in the bay yesterday afternoon with a full cargo of timber. She will be berthed at the wharf to-day.
The sohooner Gisborne arrived from the North on Saturday evening with timber, and berthed at the town wharf yesterday. The s.s. Hawea loft Auckland on Thursday last, and is expected to leave the Bluff on Tuesday, Oamaru on Wednesday, and Timaru on Thursday next with produce for Northern ports.
The s.s. Moana leaving Sydney 24th March for Vancouver, calls at Fiji, leaving there . Ist April. The Taviuoi leaving Auckland 26th March, will connect at Suva',Fiji.
UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
Wednesday.—To Anau arrives from South early, and leaves for Auckland. First launch, 5 a.m.; last, 8 a.rn.
Saturday.—Mararoa arrives from South, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launch, 6 a.m.; last, 10 a.m.
