GREAT INTEREST BEING TAKEN

Wanganui, last night. Arrangements are well forward here for the visit of the Australasian champion swimmers, and special accommodation has been arranged at the Baths. In view of the interest the people of the district are taking in the gathering, the Secretary has been directed to arrange a conference of polo players to amend the existing polo rules.

Entries are coming in well, and every'king points to a great meeting.
