BOWLING.
There was a large attendance at the Bowling Green yesterday afternoon, and a number of interesting games were played. The matches took place on the new green, which was in excellent order. A pairs game was played between Humphreys and Witty and Massey and Dixon, two games of twenty-one heads being played, with change of skips. In the first game, when Witty and Dixon skipped, the score was 18 all, and in the second game, when Humphreys andjMassey skipped, the latter won by 32 to 13. On the agggregate, Dixon and Massey won bv 50 to 31. In the first game, which ended in a draw, Humphreys and Witty scored their 18 points in five heads.
