RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUES.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, last night.
The proposal to introduce the rating on Unimproved Value Act in the Borough of St. Albans was adopted to-day by 350 votes against 218. A great deal of interest was taken in the event, and the polling was heavier than at any municipal election in the Borough.
